Celebrities Pay Tribute to Naya Rivera After Police Confirm Her Death at 33

The shocking news of Naya Rivera’s death hit Hollywood hard. Following a six-day search, her body was found and identified in Southern California’s Lake Piru on Monday. The ‘Glee” star had rented a boat with her 4-year-old son on Wednesday, July 8. She was pronounced missing after a few days.

Rivera’s son was found and identified, where he alerted authorities that he saw his mother get into the water, but she never came out. CNN reports that Rivera used all of her energy to save her son; leaving nothing left to save herself.

Celebrities and close friends have continued to memorialize the Hollywood actress. Naya Rivera begins her career as a child actor in the 90s, appearing on a number of shows. Some included ‘Smart Guy,’ The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,’ ‘The Royal Family’ and more. She would become a star on Fox’s hit TV series Glee, for 6 seasons.

Naya Rivera’s castmates and fellow celebrities such as Omarion, Jhene Aiko, Tia, Tamara, and Tahj Mowry and more continue to mourn and remember her. Naya Rivera was 33 years old.

My Naya! I became apart of your world through my brother @tahj_mowry. You guys used to hit the pavement auditioning together and booking jobs together. I’ve known your beautiful spirit since the age of 6. You quickly became family. Just some of my favorite memories- you helping my sister and myself look for a place to live when my parents kicked Tamera and I out of the house at 25.
