Hours before the match, Joeboy shared a screenshot of a bet he placed, predicting a Real Madrid victory over Arsenal. Had Madrid won, Joeboy would have walked away with a massive N10.3 million. However, the Gunners’ dominant performance at the Emirates left Joeboy out of pocket, as Arsenal sealed a 3-0 victory.
In a playful tweet before the game, Joeboy wrote, “Cashing out on Arsenal tears tonight!” but the final score left him with nothing but regret.
After the match, Adekunle Gold took to social media to share Joeboy’s original tweet, teasing him with the comment: “Lmao. You don go blow stream money. Next time face your club.”
