Adele Releases Tracklist For New Album”30″

 

English singer and songwriter, Adele has finally released the tracklist to her highly anticipated fourth studio album 30 and, true to form, the song titles are both heartbreaking and very relatable.

The singer, who announced earlier about the release of the album, stated that her new album ‘30’ is her ride or die creation throughout the most turbulent period of her life.

 

 

Album 30 is following in the format of her previous releases 19, 21 and 25. The Grammy award winner has been teasing the album’s lead single, Easy on Me. The singer also shared some part of the music video and even teased the song’s lyrics on her Instagram Stories.

 

The 33-year-old singer who was divorced from her husband Simon Konecki in 2019, and lost her dad Mark Evans to cancer early this year, said the album shows her painstaking effort to rebuild her house, heart and friendships. She wrote,

“I was certainly nowhere near where I’d hoped to be when I first started it nearly 3 years ago. Quite the opposite actually. I rely on routine and consistency to feel safe, which I always have. And yet there I was knowingly – willingly even, throwing myself into a maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil! I’ve learned a lot of blistering home truths about myself along the way.”

 

She added, “I’ve shed many layers but also wrapped myself in new ones. Discovered genuinely useful and wholesome mentalities to lead with, and I feel like I’ve finally found my feeling again. I’d go as far as to say that I’ve never felt more peaceful in my life. And so, I’m ready to finally put this album out. It was my ride or die throughout the most turbulent period of my life. ”

 

 

“When I was writing it, it was my friend who came over with a bottle of wine and a takeaway to cheer me up. My wise friend who always gives the best advice. And then that friend who no matter what, checked in on me even though I’d stopped checking in with them because I’d become so consumed by my own grief. I have painstakingly rebuilt my house and my heart since then and this album narrates it,” she said.

 

 

Although admitting that she is nowhere near where she had hoped to be when she first started the album three years ago, she has willingly thrown herself “into a maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil”, “learnt a lot of blistering truths about herself along the way, as well as shed many layers but also wrapped herself in new ones”.

 

 

Adele’s last album 25 was released back in 2015 and was the world’s best-selling album of the year. The album went on to sell over 22 million copies worldwide, making it the fourth-best selling album of the 21st century, the second-best-selling album of the 2010s behind her album 21, and one of the best-selling albums of all time. Following 21, it was certified Diamond by the RIAA, making Adele the only artist of the 2010s to achieve this certification with two albums.

 

 

The new album, which includes 12 tracks and three bonus songs  is set to be released on November 19 with tracks like, such as Love is a Game, Woman Like Me, Hold On, To Be Loved, Easy On Me, I Drink Wine, etc

The deluxe edition is said to have three extra bonus tracks like Wild Wild West, Can’t Be Together and Easy On Me (with Chris Stapleton)

 

The album will also feature the late jazz great Erroll Garner in her eighth track All Night Parking.
