Agbani Darego emerged as the first African lady to win the 51st edition of the beauty pageant that was held in Sun City, South Africa on November 16, 2001. She succeeded the famous Indian actress, film producer and model Priyanka Chopra.
It’s been 20 years since Nigerian beauty queen, Agbani Darego, made the history of emerging as the most beautiful girl in the world.
Thankful for the lifetime moment, she took to her social media to celebrate with a video of the historic moment she was crowned. She captioned it,
