The 24-year-old American rapper, who previously said ‘she didn’t give a f**k’ about the pandemic, didn’t say when she came down with the virus but speculated that she had contracted it through a food delivery service.

Speaking to Capital XTRA, the musician explained that she had a ‘freakout’ of symptoms that lasted four days.

“I got COVID,” Doja Cat, whose real name is Amalaratna Zandile Dlamini, said.

“Honestly, I don’t know how this happens, but I guess I ordered something off of Postmates and I don’t know how I got it, but I got it.”

The songstress added: “I’m okay now. It was a four-day symptom freakout, but I’m fine now.”

Doja Cat also failed to mention during her conversation with Yinka and Shayna Marie whether she had actually been tested for the virus or just showed symptoms.
