Falz TheBahdGuy Reacts as Senator Abbo Elijah receives an award

Senator Abbo Elijah was recently awarded by an organization with an award of ‘Icon of democracy‘, in a recent video that surfaced online, he was seen giving a speech about the challenges of politics in Nigeria.

Senator Abbo Elijah, was caught on camera assaulting a pregnant woman in a sex toy shop in Abuja and was expected to face some disciplinary action in the National Assembly, as a serving Senator.

However, music artist, Falz TheBahdGuy who has been vocal about civil rights in the society and uses his music as a tool for human rights advocacy, took to his Instagram page to express his displeasure about the Senator being awarded.

What kind of a joke is this man ?! 😳 This is the Senator that was caught on tape assaulting a woman in an adult store. ————————
“Icon of democracy” award? 🤦🏽‍♂️Shamelessness at the highest level. It’s actually disgusting. He should be holding a plaque that says “Biggest disgrace of the year”. ———————
To the Nigerian Police, I thought this man had been charged to court, what is the status of the case? —-——-————
To the National Assembly, What disciplinary action was taken against him? ——————————
We need answers!!! This man cannot remain in the senate!! #EndImpunity
