Former Super Eagles defender Taye Taiwo loses dad

Nigerian footballer, Taye Taiwo has announced the demise of his father Pa Salisu in an Instagram post he shared.

Taiwo announced the passing of Pa Salisu on Instagram with a photo; “RIP my father,”

The Late Salisu spent most of his life working as an electric welder in Isheri-Olofin area of Lagos and later had the opportunity of seeing his son, Taye, become a successful footballer.

Some of his former colleagues sent their condolences to the former Super Eagles player immediately he announced the demise of his father in an Instagram post he shared.

Some his former colleques that sent greetings to him includes: Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Finidi George, Victor Obinna Nsofor, Peter Osaze Odemwingie, Sunday Stephen among others.
