When you think of Harrysong, music probably comes first. However, away from the stage and studio, the singer has been living a completely different kind of life. One that involves public service, heavy schedules, and constant movement between cities.
Over the past three years, Harrysong’s Delta State Executive Assistant on Entertainment has become more than just a title. Harrysong previously had the privilege of working under former governor Ifeanyichukwu Arthur Okowa. However, he was officially appointed as the Executive Assistant on Entertainment under the current governor, Sheriff Oborevwori. Since then, his daily routine has changed dramatically.
According to Harrysong, the role has not been easy. The workload is heavy, and the demands are high. In fact, he revealed that nearly 80 percent of his time is spent in Delta State rather than Lagos. Balancing music with public responsibilities has turned every year into a marathon.

One of the highlights of his work as Harrysong’s Delta State Executive Assistant on Entertainment is organizing cultural and talent-driven events. Festivals like the Ukodo Festival have been created to spotlight upcoming artists and give them a chance to grow into stardom.
Beyond music, the administration also supports initiatives like the Queen Delta pageant. Often organized by Gordon, the pageant gives young women a platform to build confidence, express themselves, and be seen.
