‘Maria dey lie o’ – Pere reacts to Maria’s statement at the BBNaijaReunion

Former Big Brother Naija season 6 Shine Ya Eye star, and reality television star, Pere Egbi has reacted to the statement by his co-reality star Maria Benjamin Chike, at the Shine Ya Eye Reunion show, Day 2.

The Reunion show kicked off on its second night, with the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu playing a video clip where Maria gossiped about Angel, to her colleagues, Jackie B, Nini and Peace.

Maria was heard saying that Angel’s lifestyle in the House seems to be very irritating, adding that she kisses male Housemates in any slightly opportunity.

On clearing the air during the Reunion show, Maria told Ebuka that her statement in the Big Brother House about Angel was just her personal opinion about her.

Then, it escalated to a point where it was alleged that Maria later apologized to Angel’s dad, whereas, she insisted that she never apologized to him, adding that she only told him that she’s sorry for the misunderstanding and miscommunication people have over what she said about his daughter, Angel.

Reacting to that, Pere, who was formerly known in the Biggie’s House, to have had Maria as his love interest, indirectly stated via his Twitter page that Maria lied at the Reunion.

“People Dey lie o”, Pere tweeted, as Twitter users and BBNaija fans share reactions in his comment section.

“I have always liked pere untill recently, just because Maria dumped you that’s that’s why u are behaving like this and side with the ones that will easily give u wat u want!! Weldon!!! I support you from day 1 and I still am, I’m just disappointed”, @comfortc4 reacted.

@nasiru_philips added, “Aswear Maria lied about not bodyshaming angel. She started it by saying how can a girl of 20 years have that kind of sag boobs. I recall that moment wellla.”
