Mercy Eke, a former contestant on Big Brother Naija, has released her first official statement in response to her second-place finish in the recent Big Brother Naija All Stars show.
It was reported on Sunday night that Ilebaye emerged as the winner of the All Stars show, surpassing Mercy Eke, Ceec, Pere, Cross, and Adekunle to claim the title. Although many had high hopes for Mercy Eke, she ultimately secured the first runner-up position, with 23% of the votes, while Ilebaye garnered 30%.
Despite the loss, Mercy Eke maintains a positive outlook and has reached out to Ilebaye with a message of friendship. She encouraged her to wear her crown proudly, hold her head high, and continue to shine.
In celebration of Ilebaye’s victory, Mercy Eke acknowledged the impressive game that Ilebaye played. She also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her family, fans, Multi Choice, and all those who supported her throughout the competition, emphasizing that words cannot adequately convey her appreciation for their unwavering support
