Jasmine Okafor, the adopted daughter of veteran actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has conveyed a message to individuals who judge on social media.

In the previous week, the Nigerian police apprehended her along with one of Mr Ibu’s sons, Daniel Onyeabuchi, on charges of defrauding the actor of N55 million.

The investigation brought to light text messages exchanged via WhatsApp between Jasmine and Daniel, outlining their conspiracy and the formulation of their criminal schemes. It was revealed that the duo engaged in a sham marriage at the Ikoyi Magistrate Registry, intending to flee the country for the UK, where they planned to settle with the proceeds of their illicit activities.

In response to the news, Jasmine expressed her views in a blog’s comment section, sarcastically asserting that the reported figures were inaccurate, claiming she had actually stolen 1 billion and was providing live updates from Kiri Kiri prison.

Recently, Jasmine took to her Instagram page to announce that the comment section on social media judges and magistrates was now open for engagement.

“Dear Social media judges are magistrates, comment section is open for you as usual…..”.

Earlier this year, Jasmine and Mr. Ibu’s son found himself once again in police custody, eagerly awaiting impending court charges. Notably, reports surfaced, indicating that on Thursday, January 18th, authorities would formally charge him for his adamant refusal to release and hand over all possessions, including social media accounts, to his wife, Stella Maris.

Provided information unveiled that the ailing actor, currently in the process of recuperation, had already given explicit instructions for the seamless transfer of his belongings to his wife. Despite these challenging circumstances, Jasmine, who had consciously maintained a low profile on social media, took to countering the prevailing reports. She shared a video of herself joyfully spending time with actor Deyemi Okanlawon, offering a glimpse into a more positive aspect of her life amidst the ongoing legal proceedings.
