Nigerian professional footballer, Odion Jude Ighalo becomes the first Nigerian footballer to play for the English Premier League Club, Manchester United. Odion Ighalo who is on a loan from Shanghai Greenland Shenhua of the Chinese Super League made his first appearance for Manchester United yesterday the 17th of February in a match against Chelsea FC, one that ended with a 2-0 win in favor of Manchester United. Odion Jude Ighalo graced the field on the side of the 142yrs Manchester United FC as the first Nigerian to play on their side.
