American rapper, singer and businessman Diddy have penned a letter to the “motherland” after working with Burna Boy.

Diddy said Burna is the first African artist he has “been blessed” to work with. He took to social media to let Africa know that he has been thinking about ways to connect with the continent. The star said he wanted to connect with Africa in a “soulful, spiritual way”.

“I think it’s so important we all make it our mission to build a bridge to the motherland. Let’s continue to uplift and build with our brothers and sisters. It’s what THEY fear the most… Strength in numbers. Love, your brother Diddy. See y’all soon!”
