Ruggedman contacts man who begged for record deal in 2020 while dropping impressive freestyle rap

A young Nigerian man identified as Divine Eze has finally been recognised two years after going viral for a freestyle rap.

He had dropped a freestyle video on Twitter in July 2020 and it left many social media users impressed.

Divine then begged to be signed by any known music label at the time but just as he thought none took note of his talent, Ruggedman reached out to him 2 years later.

The upcoming rapper had captioned the rap video; ”See ehn

This is 💯 freestyle and I Dey sign and I write. Help me retweet abeg, make person give me record deal. I’m tired of just hanging on the fence.”

Ruggedman quoted Divine’s 2020 tweet and told him to check his DM for some good news.

”Check your dm. You are on for tomorrow if you are based in Lagos or in Lagos right now,” he wrote.

In response, the young man said; ”God Abeg oh. Don’t know how to react”
