“The grass is not always greener on the other side” – Yemi Alade

Here’s a playful exchange between talented Nigeria music stars, Adekunle Gold and Yemi Alade.
Yemi Alade had taken to Twitter to share her thoughts on a theme ‘The grass isn’t greener on the other side’.
She said,
“the grass is not always greener on the other side”
Though the reason for her statement wasn’t stated, it has however become a thing of joke and friendship in the eyes of their followers.

Adekunle responded to the tweet seeing as it goes against the first lines from one of his hit songs titled ‘Ire’  the song which started with the words:
“The grass is greener on the other side.”
Replied to Yemi Alade’s tweet asking if she now considers him a liar.
