WIZKID ACCIDENTALLY THROW HIS EXPENSIVE RING TO FAN
On a memorable night at Tottenham Stadium in London, UK, Grammy award-winning Nigerian musician, Wizkid, accidentally threw his expensive ring into the crowd while attempting to fling his jacket to his fans during his sold-out show.

The ring, estimated to be worth £100,000 (about N85 million), became an unexpected gift for one lucky concertgoer.
Popular British-Nigerian podcaster, Adesope Olajide, who was present at the front row during the show, expressed regret for leaving his spot just as the ring fell into the crowd. Adesope shared that he had previously caught the rings of other artists like Zlatan Ibile and Diamond Platnumz at their concerts in the past, but missed the opportunity to catch Wizkid’s valuable ring.

He said: Adesope said, “Why did I leave that front [row at Wizkid’s show] when that ring was about to fall? Ah! I have caught Zlatan and Diamond Platnumz’s rings before. These are thousands of pounds and dollars.
“Obviously, the Wiz ring that would have been the one. I’m honest. I could sell it for like £100k.”

During an Instagram live session with fans, Adesope humorously lamented his missed chance, jokingly calculating how much he could have sold the ring for, possibly around £100,000. He playfully acknowledged that had he managed to catch Wizkid’s ring, it would have been a significant financial windfall for him.

The ring incident, Wizkid’s show at Tottenham Stadium was an immense success and made history as he became the first African artist to sell out the 80,000-capacity venue. Burna Boy, another Nigerian artist, had previously achieved a similar feat by selling out London Stadium last month, becoming the second African artist to accomplish this in the United Kingdom.

However, the concert was graced by the presence of renowned football stars Bukayo Saka, Alex Iwobi, and Eddie Nketiah, adding to the excitement of the event and solidifying Wizkid’s reputation as a global superstar with a dedicated and enthusiastic fan base.

As Wizkid continues to break barriers and set new records in the music industry, his Tottenham Stadium show will undoubtedly remain a significant highlight in his career, further solidifying his status as one of Africa’s most accomplished and celebrated musicians.

Meanwile wizkid’s fans took to social media to share their reactions and comments on the incident. Here are some of the responses from Wizkid’s fans:
“I can’t dispute it but omo if I am the one that miraculously found the ring. Temidire, Ayomide, ibukun Orun wole, alafia de, irorun, ojoola mi ti Dara. Poverty is a bastard’’
‘’I go just de go house if I collect the ring,I no wan hear anything.’’
