Afrobeats superstar Wizkid has smashed another massive milestone! The Grammy-winning Nigerian singer became the first African artist to hit 20 billion global audio-on-demand streams, proving once again that he’s a powerhouse on the global music stage.

One of his most streamed songs remains Drake’s global hit “One Dance,” where Wizkid featured alongside British singer Kyla.
ChartMasters, a top global music data platform, confirmed the record-breaking achievement, which includes streams from Wizkid’s solo hits, albums, and high-profile collaborations across platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
One of his most streamed songs remains Drake’s global hit “One Dance,” where Wizkid featured alongside British singer Kyla. That track alone has earned over 3.6 billion Spotify streams and holds a Guinness World Record as the first song to hit 1 billion streams on the platform.
In 2023, Wizkid made more history as the first African artist to receive the Brit Billion Award for surpassing 1 billion streams in the UK.
