Wizkid, Burna Boy win big at MOBO Awards 2020

Wizkid and Burna Boy won big at the recently concluded Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards. Wizkid was named the Best African Act while Burna Boy was named the Best International Act.
The MOBO Awards happened on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, virtually on YouTube.
Wizkid was the winner of the category which had a competitive lineup of stars like Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, etc.
This comes three years after he became the first African artist to have won the BET Award and MOBO Award for Best African Act.

Also stealing the show at the MOBOs was Burna Boy who made Nigeria proud as he emerged winner in his own category. Burna Boy won the “Best International Act” having captivated the local and global audience with his signature sound and undeniable charisma.
He was nominated in the category alongside Rema, Drake, Megan Thee Stallion, the late Pop Smoke, Lil Baby and more.
