Shatta Wale And Wizkid Settle Their Differences

Written by on June 11, 2018

Ghanaian Artist Shatta Wale and Nigerian Star boy Wizkid have finally put their differences aside. Both acts even performed together on stage.

Recall, Shatta had shared a video of himself with a gun on Facebook threatening Wizkid and warning him not to come to Ghana.

Apparently, their beef began when the self-acclaimed king of Ghanaian dance-hall music criticized Nigerian music sensation, Wizkid.

In an interview, Shatta also expressed his distaste over how Ghanaians, especially celebrities like, put Wizkid on a pedestal. He stated that there was nothing special about Wizkid and he won’t be amazed if he sees him.

In his words:

“I will not see Wizkid and be stunned, I rather want him to see me and be amazed because I don’t see anything extraordinary about him, even though he claims to the best African artiste”.

This led to an uproar on social media, with many Nigerians and even Ghanaians attacking Shatta, even some Ghanaians apologized to Nigerians for his behaviour.

It seems all is well now as both artists hugged it out on stage.
