2baba shares words of wisdom “It is not every door that opens for you, you should enter”

The renowned singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2baba or 2face, recently shared a crucial piece of advice with his vast audience.
On his Instagram page, the accomplished artist urged his followers not to enter every opened door they come across. Reflecting on life, he emphasized that each person is a bonafide member with a distinct identity. Using someone else’s ID to gain entry is not an option.
In his wisdom, 2baba highlighted the importance of focusing on individual pursuits as we navigate life simultaneously. It’s essential to stay alert, avoiding potential pitfalls and complications that might arise along the way.
“See 4 this life everybody is a bona-fide member. Everybody get a name wey dem answer u no go fit use my ID make u enter oh Lord. And as u enter at the same time, make u attend to your matter shine your eye, make u no go enter the gutter. No, he very door wey open u go enter”.

A few days ago, 2baba fondly recalled his late friend and colleague, Sound Sultan. In a heartfelt note, he revisited pivotal moments in the industry and shared their dreams for Nigerian and African music.
Despite 2baba’s evolution into a veteran, he expressed determination not to relinquish the stage to the new talents emerging in the industry.
He emphasized that the realization of their dreams was bittersweet, as Sound Sultan was no longer around to witness their shared aspirations. In preparation for the New Year, 2baba hinted at numerous untold stories he wished he could share with his departed friend.
Reflecting on the past, Sound Sultan’s demise on July 11, 2021, marked the end of his battle with ‘Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma,’ a form of cancer affecting the throat. In the lead-up to his passing, he underwent chemotherapy in a United States hospital.
In another chapter of 2baba’s journey, last year, he unveiled an unconventional aspiration: the establishment of a church. On Instagram, he revealed his vision for the church, named Straight To Heaven International Church of God Nigeria Limited (STHICOGNL). Despite the goodwill behind this idea, some fans, in the comments, speculated on the potential romantic entanglements between the legendary singer and his female church members.
Before this unexpected venture into ecclesiastical matters, 2baba had openly discussed his spiritual life, lamenting the considerable duration since he last attended church. In a poignant moment shared on social media, he confessed that years had passed since he stepped into a church. This revelation came alongside a touching video featuring 2baba and his younger daughter, Olivia.
