Nigerian Artiste Sets World Record

Nigerian gospel artiste named Chika Nwaogu a.k.a St. Chika has broken the Guinness World for the “longest officially released song.”

The former record was occupied by PC III Label Pipe Choir from USA in 2015 but was recently dethroned by Dominican Republic rapper Henry G whose song titled “El Manifesto” lasts for 3 hours, 26 minutes, 22 seconds.

Notwithstanding, the Nigerian gospel singer broke the record with his 4 hours, 2 minutes, 4 seconds long song called “Power in the Name of the Lord” topping the previous record with over 36 minutes.

The song which consists of 64 verses,was released on digital stores like iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Deezer,Google Play, Sound cloud and YouTube.

St. Chika, 28, was said to have started recording the song on Sunday, May 20, and finished on Thursday, May 24.
