Rema Sells Out 20,000-Seat Accor Arena in France

Afrobeats superstar Rema thrilled fans with a spectacular performance at the iconic accor arena in France. He delivered an electrifying set featuring his biggest hits.

Rema focused on his Grammy nominated sophomore album HEIS, which drives his current world tour. The album’s infectious tracks have helped him become one of Afrobeats’ most influential global voices.

During the show, Rema invited award winning rapper Odumodublvck on stage to perform their hit “War Machine.” He also brought out rapper Shallipopi for a high energy rendition of “Benin Boys,” energizing the crowd.

This concert adds another highlight to Rema’s impressive career. He continues to lead the global export of Nigerian music. His single “Calm Down,” featuring Selena Gomez, recently made history by becoming the first African song to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify. This milestone proves his worldwide appeal.

Rema kept a unique tour tradition alive by performing alongside wax figures of Afrobeats’ “Big 3” — Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy. This symbolized his goal to join the genre’s elite. His message is clear in the song “Hehehe,” where he raps, “there’s no longer a big 3; there’s now a big 4.”

Before this Madison Square Garden show, Rema impressed fans at the O2 Arena. He joined Nigerian stars Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Asake as the latest artists to headline the world famous venue.
