Former Nigerian dancehall star Cynthia Morgan has called out Natasha Idibia (née Osawaru), wife of Afrobeat icon Innocent “Tuface” Idibia. In a viral Instagram Story, Morgan accused Natasha of allegedly pressuring the singer into making a public apology that quickly set the internet ablaze.
Tuface’s apology followed a recent interview that drew massive backlash online. Fans questioned the timing and motive behind it. Morgan added fuel to the fire, calling the apology forced and insincere. She urged Nigerians to pray for the music legend.
“You can’t purge a man like Tuface into monogamy overnight,” she wrote, referencing his complex romantic history and public persona.
She also questioned his spiritual identity. “Is he a Christian or a church leader?” she asked, hinting at contradictions between the singer’s lifestyle and public statements.
Morgan pointed to his personal life as proof of his polygamous nature. “At 49, with seven kids from three women, are we surprised he thinks he’s polygamous in nature? I’m not.”
She ended her post with a biblical reference and a plea:
