Angel Smith’s mother slams Venita Akpofure for slut shaming her daughter

Angel Smith’s mother has taken a stand against fellow housemate Venita Akpofure for allegedly engaging in slut-shaming towards her daughter during their time in the Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eyes’ house. The incident reportedly occurred when Venita, who had some friction with Angel, made derogatory remarks about her to Seyi.

In defense of her daughter, who is also known as Titilala Brown Sugar on Instagram, Angel’s mother pointed out the similarity in age between her and Venita. She asserted that she would address the issue directly with Venita once the reality star exits the house.

“Coming from someone that is a mother of two beautiful daughters. Just because of PMP that is it even for you but a man, thank God we are almost age mate. @venitaAkpofure me and you go settle the matter for outside”, she tweeted.

This isn’t the first time, Angel’s parents are standing up for her.

Maria apologizes to Angel’s dad for slut-shaming her

During the ‘Shine ya eyes’ edition of Big Brother Naija season six, Maria Chike issued an apology to Angel’s father for her previous remarks about Angel while they were in the house.

During her tenure on the show, Maria engaged in derogatory comments about Angel, suggesting that their fellow ex-housemate Michael viewed Angel in a negative light.

She also mentioned that Angel had a tendency to flirt with boys in the house and didn’t hold respectful relationships with the female contestants. Furthermore, Maria implied that Michael would not consider dating Angel.

Nonetheless, Maria, who was 29 years old at the time, later withdrew her statements and extended an apology to Angel’s father during the grand finale.

A video circulated on social media showing the former housemate approaching Angel’s father, who was live-streaming the event.

Maria explained that her comments had been misconstrued and misunderstood.
