Anita Okoye, the former spouse of singer Paul Okoye, has spoken out following their reunion for a family outing. Despite their challenging divorce, Paul Okoye and Anita Okoye are projecting a united front for the sake of their children.

Currently in Detroit with his twin brother, Peter Okoye, for their concert, the singer took his children to his concert rehearsal, accompanied by his ex-wife.

A video shared on Paul’s Instagram page captured a poignant moment as Anita and Paul presented a united front for their children, reuniting as a family. The video depicted Peter and Paul arriving at the house to collect the children for the rehearsal. Paul mentioned his desire for his children to witness his concert preparation process.

Although the couple maintained a social distance and didn’t interact visibly in the video, they shared touching moments from the event. Anita conveyed her sense of pride in reuniting with the singer for the well-being of their children. She expressed how her heart brimmed with pride and emotion seeing her children’s eyes light up beside their father and his twin, Peter Okoye. She emphasized that these cherished memories would remain close to their hearts.

You may already be aware that Paul Okoye and his lovely wife, Anita, have parted ways.

Their divorce was legally completed last year, with Anita achieving significant gains through the legal process.

It’s worth remembering that in 2021, Anita initiated the divorce proceedings, citing reasons such as infidelity, separation, absentee fatherhood, fraud, and difficult circumstances.

A year after initiating the divorce, a divorce decree was issued by an Abuja High Court in Maitama, formally ending the marriage between Anita and Paul Okoye.

Anita undoubtedly found success in this legal endeavor, as she was granted a monthly settlement of $20,000 along with several properties owned by her husband.

Since his separation from his wife, Paul Okoye has moved on with an influencer, who he went public with just weeks after his divorce.

The lovebirds who were marking their one-year anniversary, had stepped out in style and had treated themselves to a sumptuous meal. Captioning one of the clips, Paul expressed gratitude to God.
