Davido wins “Musician of the Year” at The Future Awards Africa 2017

Last night, Nigerian pop star Davido received the award for Musician of the Year at The Future Awards Africa 2017.

The event was hosted by Adekunle Gold and Mimi Onalaja.

Emerging top in the music category with other artistes such as Tekno Miles, Kiss Daniel, Adekunle Gold and Simi, Davido publicly declared that he holds no malice against anyone

OBO as he is fondly called played down rumours saying that he is at war with some of his colleagues in the Nigeria music industry.

Although there had been indicatons of supremacy between the DMW Boss and Wizkid.

In his acceptance speech;
“It’s been a great year for me. Thank you guys for this award. I also want us to all come together as Nigerians as one. I also want to say for this industry, me I no dey fight anybody ooh.”

The event was held at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
