‘BBNaija’ star Ka3na, who tragically lost her husband in May 2023, recently paid him a touching tribute in Venice.
Ka3na, a former contestant of Big Brother Naija, known as Kate Jones, bid her late husband, Keith Jones, a final farewell by scattering his ashes on the serene waters of the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy.
She shared a heartfelt video on her Instagram page, featuring herself and her three-year-old daughter Lila, gliding on a gondola.
They gently released her husband’s remains into the canal while a gondolier navigated through the tranquil waterways. Clad in a graceful black tube gown, Ka3na and her daughter smiled, cherishing the cherished memories of their beloved husband and father.
Her caption read, “I and my beautiful daughter released the ashes of a beloved husband and a great father. Setting his spirit free to soar among the heavens. As the wind carries his essence and the timeless waters of the Grand Canal witness the journey of a cherished soul…may it touch the hearts of all who knew him, forever reminding us of his warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. Though our tears may fall, his memory will forever shine as a guiding light, illuminating our path with strength, resilience, and the enduring power of love. Rest peacefully, dear husband and best knowing that your legacy lives on eternally within our hearts.”
Her husband died at the beginning of May 2023 after losing the well-fought battle with cancer, making him the first person she ever lost.
When she announced that he passed away on May 28, 2023, after his burial, she noted that it took her 3 days to fully process the fact that he had passed away.
However in August 2023, after months of mourning, she returned to social media with a somewhat controversial post letting everyone know that she may be widowed but she is not withered.
