Lionel Messi Welcomes Third Child

Lionel Messi’s new son Ciro has been introduce to the world in a touching family photo.

His wife, Antonella, posted a black and white snap of herself cradling her newborn surrounded by the Barcelona star and their beaming sons, Thiago, five, and Mateo, two.

She captioned it: “I cannot express the love I have for you. ❤❤ Welcome Ciro❤❤❤❤❤”

Messi, 30, missed saturday’s win over Malaga to be with Antonella, also 30.

He himself posted a picture of Ciro’s tiny hand clutching his finger.

Accompanying the post, Messi wrote: “Welcome Ciro! Thank God everything went perfect.

“Mom and he are very well. We are super happy !!!!!”

Childhood sweethearts Messi and Roccuzzo married in June this year in a lavish ceremony in their hometown of Rosario.

Ciro will join siblings Thiago Messi who was given birth to in November 2, 2012 and Matteo Messi who was born September 11, 2015.

Despite the the arrival of his third son, Lionel Messi is expected to be ready for the UEFA Champions League game against Chelsea.

Barcelona fear they could lose Messi with a club paying his huge £625million release clause.

The Catalan club’s financial and strategy director Pancho Schroder believes Neymar’s record-shattering £198m move from Barca to PSG shows anything can happen in football.

Schroder told Sky Sports: “We set up a clause which we think is enough to have Messi retire at FC Barcelona.

“But having said that, we thought a year ago that the clause for Neymar was also good enough to retain the player, and that proved last summer not to be the case.

“Looking at the future, I think, is difficult, but I don’t have a crystal ball and these days things are getting a little bit crazy.”
