Two years after his first album, Rema Divine Ikubor is a Nigerian rapper and singer-songwriter. from Benin City proves he’s the future of Afro-pop.

His surprise album ‘Heis’ features 11 energetic tracks that showcase his musical growth and address past controversies.


Starting with his signature laugh, ‘Heis’ explores new sounds with songs like ‘March Am’ and ‘Azaman’. Mixing strings, drums, and even car engines. Rema uses his voice creatively, like in ‘Hehehe’ where he mocks his haters.


He also brings back the popular amapiano style in tracks like ‘Yayo’ and ‘Benin Boys’, which have catchy beats and rhythms.

Collaborating with Shallipopi on ‘Benin Boys’, they celebrate their hometown proudly.


The album includes collaborations with Odumodublvck on ‘War Machine’ and a soulful amapiano track ‘Villain’.
