Winner of BBNaija Lockdown, Laycon has shown support to patients with sickle cell in the country by donating funds for their care.
The artiste, who revealed his SC genotype on the reality show decided to give back to the community by making life easier for sickle cell patients and he did it quietly.
His act of charity was only made public by a Twitter user whose family benefited from Laycon’s kindness.
The Twitter user wrote: “My cousin took her son to sickle cell foundation idiaraba to get the drug for her son, she was told to pay little amount of money cos Laycon gave them money to treat SS patient. She cried and she was so happy cos her president love them. Thanks Laycon. #icons #LayconComeOnline.”
