Nigerian award-winning singer, Reekado Banks, recently revealed the story behind his new song, ‘Mama’, on the Award-winning WetinDey show with MaxFM OAP Wale Powpowpow.
“Mama is all about promoting Africa. The song is to promote African heritages and dances we have in Africa.”
He was asked to give his two favourite songs in his just-released EP and the ‘Katapot’ crooner declared that he loves ‘Rora’ and ‘Happy Yourself’.
According to him, the songs are not about women but about police brutality and everything that is happening in the country.
