Actress Ngozi Ezeonu shares disturbing post, leaves many worried and confused

With just a week left until the New Year, several celebrities are grappling with the loss of loved ones.

The most recent is actress Ngozi Ezeonu, who posted a poignant candlelight photo on her Instagram, signaling the departure of a rare gem, implying the passing of a fellow celebrity.

Despite the somber announcement, actress Ngozi Ezeonu’s sparse words have stirred confusion and concern among many.

“A rare gem is gone”, she wrote.

Just a day back, the Yoruba faction of Nollywood was thrown into mourning as actor, Deji Aderemi Olofa died a few days after the new year 2024.

Veteran film producer and Chief Executive Officer of Best of Nollywood (BON), Seun Oloketuyi broke the news on his Instagram page.

Another veteran actor Saidi Balogun confirmed his death on his official Instagram page, with a photo of the actor on his page.

Some days to Christmas, The Yoruba industry had also lost another of its own, Dejumo Lewis, a Nollywood actor, who died at age 80.

The actor, who is notable for his roles in “A Place in the Stars”, ‘Crossroads’, ‘Power of 1’, and most especially for playing the Kabiyesi role in ‘The Village Headmaster”, was confirmed dead by his colleague, Saidi Balogun in a post on his Instagram page, who bade him goodbye, while praying for his soul to rest in peace.

The cause of his death remains unknown till now.
