AKUAPEM POLOO SENT BACK TO JAIL OVER NUDE PHOTOS SAGA

Ghanaian actress and social media sensation Rosemond Alade Brown popularly known as Akuapem Poloo is shockingly back in jail.
If you would recall, earlier this year, the actress was arrested, arraigned and sentenced to ninety days’ imprisonment by an Accra Circuit Court, over the publication of “obscene material and domestic violence”, after she made a post on Instagram where she was naked while posing with her seven-year-old son.
Though she served a period into her term, her lawyers appealed the judgement considering it too harsh, and she was subsequently granted bail in the sum of eighty thousand cedis pending the determination of the appeal.
Well, a High Court sitting in Accra, Ghana has now dismissed the appeal filed by Akuapem Poloo over her April 2021 arrest, the Criminal Division of the court presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey upheld the Circuit court decision on grounds that the Circuit court’s decision was not manifestly excessive.
The court also ordered that her son should be given to any competent person in the family to take care of him, while his mother serves her sentence at the Nsawam Prison.
Following this new development, the Ghanaian actress took to her Instagram page, sharing a picture of her son with the caption, “SON I LOVE YOU AND GOD IS WITH YOU ALWAYS YOU KNOW, BE GOOD TILL MUMMY COMES BACK, GOD IS IN CONTROL ALWAYS.”
In another post she wrote, “GOD I WILL STILL PRAISE YOUR NAME CUS YOU KNOW MY NAME AND YOU KNOW BEST, THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT ESPECIALLY THE MEDIA AND MY CELEBRITIES WHO CONTINUE TO SHOW ME LOVE AND SUPPORT AWW MY WONDERFUL FANS I LOVE YOU OKAY, KISSES MUAH”
