Afrofusion superstar Burna Boy has added another major milestone to his career. On April 21, 2025, he sold out Co-op Live Manchester, England’s largest indoor arena.
This achievement came just days after he packed Stade de France in Paris, performing to over 80,000 fans. He became the first African artist to headline and sell out the iconic stadium.
At the Manchester concert, Burna Boy delivered a high-energy performance filled with his biggest hits. Fans enjoyed the songs that have made him one of Africa’s most in-demand touring acts.
He also brought out special guests. Nigerian street-hop sensation Shallipopi joined him on stage to perform the remix of their viral track “Laho.” French-Caribbean singer Joé Dwèt Filé appeared too, teaming up with Burna Boy once again for their crowd favorite “4KampeII.” The two had performed the song together just days earlier in Paris.
Next up, Burna Boy will headline the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on April 24, continuing his global tour.
2025 is already shaping up to be a big year for Burna Boy. He recently announced a new album titled ‘No Sign of Weakness,’ set for release later this year.
The project will be his eighth studio album. It follows the success of his 2023 LP, ‘I Told Them,’ which delivered several fan favorites and boosted his global recognition.
Fans are already buzzing about the new album. Burna Boy has released three singles ahead of it — the Grammy-nominated “Higher,” the catchy “Bundle By Bundle,” and his early 2025 drop “Update.”
With a strong lineup of performances and new music on the way, Burna Boy shows no signs of slowing down. His title says it all: No Sign of Weakness.
