In preparation for the match, Mary Njoku sought assistance in locating Asoebi for her family. She also inquired about where to purchase authentic jerseys, expressing her desire to show support for the Super Eagles.

The fan had taken to the micro-blogging platform to request that the singer fly him to his next show in the UK if the Super Eagles won, and surprisingly, Kizz Daniel had agreed.

After Nigeria’s victory, Kizz Daniel urged the fan to get his Visa ready as he was fulfilling his promise to fly him to the UK.

Movie star Eve Esin sustained an injury while cheering on the Super Eagles.

She shared a screenshot of her injured leg as she celebrated Nigeria’s victory, revealing that she had sustained the injury while fleeing from the penalty kick awarded to South Africa.

Despite the pain, she expressed pride in being Nigerian and in something going right for the country despite the challenging economy.
