Former Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem season 4 contestant, Natacha Akide, known as Tacha, has weighed in on the recent social media drama involving Davido and BBNaija season 7 participant, Level U housemate, Phyna.
Just a few hours ago, Davido found himself under fire on the internet for endorsing a tweet that took a dig at Phyna. The afrobeat sensation, who recently celebrated the arrival of twins, became the talk of the micro-blogging platform due to his like on a tweet that dismissed Phyna as utterly worthless.
The spark for this Twitter frenzy ignited when a user mused about certain celebrities’ fans, raising questions and passing judgments. In the process, the user singled out Phyna as one celebrity whose fan base they couldn’t quite comprehend.
Phyna, in response, also criticized the singer for his involvement in the snide commentary that was directed at her. She expressed her astonishment at Davido’s connection to this disparaging post shared about her on the X app, previously recognized as Twitter.

In a diss response, Davido apologize to Phyna with claims that his actions was a mistake. He also dissed her by claiming he did not know her.
Following this, Tacha tweeted her support for Phyna, claiming she is known by all including her.
“I know you Phyna. We plenty wey know you.”
