The lecturer who was filmed by an undercover BBC journalist who pretended to be a 17years old girl seeking admission was caught on tape seeking sexual favor from the journalist.  He also revealed the sexual activities of other lecturers in a place he called the cold room at the University of Lagos campus.

Reports from PUNCH revealed that the lecturer, Dr. Boniface Igbeneghu completely refused to comment about the incident when approached by the PUNCH, instead, he directed them to speak to University authority and claimed that he would not be put under unnecessary pressure.

“I work for the University of Lagos; if you want any reaction, talk to the university. Contact the information unit and they will tell you the correct position. If I talk, I will be running foul of the varsity law. Don’t put unnecessary pressure on me to say beyond what I have said,” he said

Meanwhile, reports have it that, the senior lecturer and associate pastor with the Foursquare Gospel Church, has been suspended from both the church and the University.
