Popular Nigerian artiste, Wizkid has express his distaste on the treatment given to African artistes by International award oganizers.
The pop star has slammed the International award organizers on the way they present awards backstage to African artistes saying they always look down on them and that he doesn’t enjoy it because he has an integrity to keep and that he wouldn’t let his people down.
Speaking with NBS Tv, Wizkid revealed that he doesn’t attend those kinds of award events and would not let any organizer look down on Africans.
When asked about what he thinks when Africans are giving awards backstage, he said;
“That is why I don’t attend those shows, they always wanna look down on us. If you cant show us the world, then dont nominate us, we are contended with what we have, we are proud Africans”.
