22-year-old Tattoo Artist Charged With Murder Of Rapper XXXTentacion

A 22-year-old suspect has been arrested and charged with  first-degree murder for the death of rising rap star XXXTentacion, who was fatally shot in his luxury BMW electric car as he left an upscale motorcycle dealership in Florida.

The local tattoo artist named Dedrick Devonshay Williams, aka Tattoman Chuckie was arrested around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said in a news release sent Thursday morning. The report says Williams, of Pompano Beach, was alone in the car and driving without a license. He was arrested on an active felony warrant.  He appeared before Broward County Judge, Kim Theresa Mollica via video on Thursday afternoon.

He was charged with first-degree murder without premeditation, a probation violation and for not having a valid driver’s license. Mollica ordered Williams to be held without bond.

According to a news source, Williams was scheduled to appear Monday before a different judge regarding the probation violation charge that stems from a 2014 grand theft auto case. Williams has previous arrest records for cocaine possession, weapons possession, aggravated assault with a firearm and domestic violence. According to arrest records, he has at least 11 felonies.
