Nigerian rapper Ice Prince Zamani has praised veteran lyricist MI Abaga for shaping his rap career, saying the training he received makes it impossible for him to deliver a subpar verse.
The Oleku crooner shared his thoughts in a recent interview, expressing full confidence in his lyrical ability. He believes he can shine on any track, no matter the beat or the artist.
āI can rap on any beat, with anybody, any rapper, and I will stand out. Iām not going to have a wack verse on a song,ā Ice Prince said.
āIām not saying other rappers canāt rap or do their thing, but it canāt be said that Iām wack. I was brought up by the best. Shout out to MI Abaga.ā
He added:
āI rapped with MI for years. Thatās my big brother. He taught me how to do this, and he taught me well.ā
