Daddy Freeze defends Yul Edochie against criticisms over his new church

Written by on January 30, 2024

Daddy Freeze recently defended Nollywood actor Yul Edochie against criticism regarding his newly launched church.

Last week, Yul announced his readiness to heed God’s call with the launch of The Salvation Ministry, an online platform for preaching.

Doubts persisted until he conducted his inaugural online service on Sunday, January 28th, sharing his divine calling experience.

In defense, Daddy Freeze argued that Yul is as qualified as any Nigerian pastor to establish a ministry, emphasizing the importance of preaching the truth.

He pointed out that some pastors, whom he refrained from naming, are doing more harm to the gospel than Yul. Freeze urged Nigerians to scrutinize failed prophecies and the controversies surrounding certain Bishops.

“Yul Edochie is not less qualified than any Nigerian pastor to open a ministry. As long as he preaches the truth. Your lying @ss pastors with their f@les monetized doctrines, conjured miracles, and testimonies are doing more harm to the gospel than Yul can ever do. Focus on all the failed prophecies GOs and the life imprisonment Bishops, leave Yul”.

In contrast to Daddy Freeze, who defended him, Twitter influencer Solomon Buchi raised questions about Yul Edochie’s spiritual mentor, given the actor’s recent entanglements with adultery and polygamy. He asserted that these actions made Yul unsuitable for preaching the gospel, labeling him an embarrassment to the Christian faith. Solomon suggested that Yul required intensive mental care rather than indulging in a ministry that seemed like a charade.

Similarly, Noble Igwe, perplexed by Yul Edochie’s journey from Real Estate to founding his ministry, expressed bewilderment. He pondered how Yul abruptly decided to embark on preaching without any apparent background in theology. Noble pointed out an underlying inconsistency in Yul’s actions.

Former reality TV star Nina Ivy asserted that Yul had appointed himself rather than being chosen by God. This observation implied skepticism about the authenticity of Yul’s spiritual calling.

The collective sentiment expressed by these individuals indicates a general skepticism and concern about the legitimacy of Yul Edochie’s venture into preaching, citing his recent personal controversies as a significant factor.
