Nigerian auto dealer, IVD, also known as Ikechukwu Igbonna, has extended a heartfelt apology to his former love interest, Blessing CEO. Their recent clash, reportedly linked to a debt issue involving singer Davido, who has been making headlines this week for unpaid debts, prompted this reconciliation.
Delving into the debt controversy, Blessing Okoro alleged that Davido owed IVD a substantial sum of N4.5 million. According to her, IVD disclosed that Davido had purchased a vehicle for his aide, Isreal DMW, and had yet to complete the payment.
Contrary to these claims, IVD publicly refuted any financial dispute with Davido, asserting that he maintained a positive relationship with the music superstar.
However, possibly feeling slighted by IVD’s firm denial, Blessing Okoro released what she claimed to be a key piece of evidence: an extensive voice note. In the recording, IVD discussed the alleged debt issue concerning Davido. He confirmed that Davido owed him money and that recovering the debt had proven to be a formidable challenge. IVD detailed the various obstacles he had encountered, as all attempts to reach Davido had been unsuccessful.
Subsequently, IVD took to his Instagram story following the release of the audio to express his gratitude to those who had checked up on him. In a direct message to Blessing CEO, he issued a heartfelt apology for not keeping her informed, revealing that the singer had indeed settled the debt.
This reconciliation marks a significant turning point in a previously contentious situation.
