Actor and recently turned pastor Yul Edochie has taken to his Instagram story to share his thoughts on friendships and Christianity.

He expressed that if he calls a person a friend then the said person remain his friend and that it would not matter if the person is a Christian, Muslim, traditionalist, or pagan, He further disclosed that if he tells or tries to preach to somebody about Jesus Christ and they do not believe him, he would still make that person his friend and would not discriminate.

He further expressed that what keeps human beings together as friends was our like minds and love we have for humanity. In his words, he says,

if you are my friend, you are my friend, whether you are Christian, Muslim, traditionalist, pagan. If I tell you about Jesus and you don’t believe me, you are still my friend. I don’t discriminate. What keeps us together as friends is the like minds we have and the love we have for humanity.”

Just a few days ago, it was reported that Yul Edochie shared insight into why he didn’t hold a ministerial service on Sunday. He explained that due to unforeseen circumstances, he couldn’t meet the requirements to conduct the service.

However, speculation arose among netizens, linking his absence to alcohol consumption. Last week, it was reported that Judy Austin and Yul Edochie stirred discussion after a viral video showed them drinking alcohol while dancing.

This was surprising given his newfound ministerial path. On February 1st, Yul Edochie announced his foray into ministry with great excitement. He declared his intention to conduct an online service every Sunday, inviting netizens and fans to participate.
