The renowned superstar singer, Davido, expressed his dismay regarding ingratitude in the world. Earlier, he responded to his colleague, Dammy Krane’s allegations of owing him.
Davido mentioned that he never received compensation for the three verses he contributed to Dammy Krane’s song nine years ago. He also recounted how he provided shelter and sustenance when Dammy Krane was homeless in Atlanta.
Continuing, OBO passionately conveyed his heartbreak concerning the prevalence of ungratefulness within the industry.
He stated that he has learned his lesson while quoting the popular catchphrase “street no get memory”.
“Street no get memory”
“The level of ungratefulness is alarming. Lesson learned”.
Just two days ago, Dammy Krane, who asserted that the singer owed him for their hit collaboration on the song ‘Pere,’ made a heartfelt appeal to the billionaire musician.
He implored OBO to settle the debt, primarily for the sake of his daughter, whose school fees desperately needed payment.
It’s worth noting that last year, Dammy Krane had previously claimed that OBO had not yet compensated him for their former chart-topping track, Pere. Despite his continuous efforts to contact the singer over the years, he received no response and had refrained from publicly calling him out.
In addition to this, he involved colleague Tekno in their dispute, questioning whether Davido was also indebted to him. Dammy Krane even alleged that Davido had dispatched his associates to physically assault him, providing photographic evidence to support his claim.
